How to choose a shaker or mixing bottle
Compare capacity, materials, closures and cleaning when choosing a mixing bottle. Documented criteria and usage limits, without product testing.

A shaker can mix with a ball or a grid in the lid. Compare the declared capacity, body material and closure system. Nominal capacity is not the same as usable mixing volume.
Below are the two documented references. Their cleaning and temperature restrictions differ: check the exact model’s instructions. The detailed comparison and complete sources remain available below.

Comparison, care and sources
Start with use and transport
Before comparing models, decide what you need to carry and where you will clean the container. A cup for mixing at home and a bottle spending hours inside a backpack face different demands. Consider available space and whether you need to take several parts apart.
Separate mixing, drinking and ingredient storage. An extra compartment may be convenient, but adds parts to check and wash. Choose for specific needs, without assuming a more complex accessory improves training. SportLoop remains a sports application; this guide provides context for comparing accessories.
Distinguish nominal capacity from mixing volume
Advertised capacity does not always match the highest scale marking. BlenderBottle explains that it measures total volume to the rim, with the lid removed, and that its markings stop below the top. Check the exact model's information before treating two different figures as an error.
When comparing sizes, consider the liquid, other ingredients and space needed for the mixture to move. No universal quantity is recommended here. Examine the scale, filling instructions and container height; a large volume does not guarantee it will fit your bag or bottle holder.

Read material descriptions without assuming broad guarantees
A material name is documentary information, not a SportLoop performance test. The Classic is described with a plastic body and a stainless-steel BlenderBall; Reforce has a single-wall stainless-steel body. This does not automatically identify materials used in lids, seals or other parts, or establish thermal insulation.
Check which parts are documented: body, lid, seal, mesh or ball. A BPA-free declaration alone does not establish every food-contact condition or temperature limit. If documentation for a reference is missing, keep that uncertainty in the comparison rather than completing its specifications with assumptions.

Cleaning and temperature limits depend on the reference
These two models require different care. The Classic manual permits its parts on the dishwasher's top rack; the care instructions place the BlenderBall in the cutlery basket. Reforce specifies handwashing only. Also consult the instructions supplied with the exact reference and wash the parts before first use.
Classic instructions rule out hot or warm liquids and carbonated drinks, as well as microwaving, freezing and boiling. Reforce prohibits hot liquids, and its single-wall body is not a thermos. Do not transfer restrictions or permissions between models, or infer a safe temperature that the manufacturer has not stated.

Compare criteria and check the closure
Before first use, read the instructions and wash parts as the manufacturer directs. Check that everything is present, correctly assembled and visibly undamaged. BlenderBottle instructs users to add liquids first and firmly close the lid and cap before shaking. That sequence does not replace another brand's instructions.
Use this table as a list of questions, not a ranking of winners. A convenient closure, understandable scale and easily cleaned parts may matter more for your routine than a striking design. None of these criteria alone proves freedom from leaks or durability in actual use.

Two documented models, two mixing designs
This comparison covers only the BlenderBottle Classic V2 Clear/Black, 28 oz, and Smartshake Reforce Stainless Steel Black, 900 ml. Reforce is Smartshake's single-wall model, not a BlenderBottle Radian. The Classic retailer selector states 828 ml while its title says 830 ml: these are rounded expressions of advertised capacity, not two usable mixing volumes.
The table records manufacturer-described features and the identities of the commercial references consulted. SportLoop has not measured capacity, tested leaks, compared mixtures or assessed durability. The ball and mixing net are design differences; they do not establish a winner or superior results.

- Features and warnings may differ between generations and markets. Consult the manual and labelling supplied with your exact reference; this guide does not replace those instructions.
- No Amazon prices, ratings, availability or commercial photographs are displayed. Only the two verified and authorized references have affiliate links, identified as advertising; a documentary mention does not activate other offers.
- This comparison does not recommend supplement consumption or establish doses or benefits. It does not assume any accessory connects or synchronizes with SportLoop.
- Advertised capacities are not usable mixing volumes. This documentary review does not certify food-contact compliance, leak resistance or safety for every use. No accredited professional review has been conducted; editorial approval is not product certification.
